Our Approach

Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is a general term used today to describe the art and techniques of natural healing performed by the ancient Chinese medical practitioners thousands of years ago. TCM is comprised of many aspects of therapeutic techniques that are used to treat and remedy various illnesses and disorders.

ACUPUNCTURE

Being the most prominent of the technique, it is highly effective and essential in TCM treatments.

MOXA

Herbal plant rolled up and burnt topically over the skin. The heat emitted will sink beneath the skin to rebalance the yin and yang of the body.

FIRE CUPPING

Glass or wooden cups used for suction purposes. Good for muscle relaxation, blood flow promotion and Qi rebalancing. Most notably, Micheal Phelps used cupping prior to his olympic competitions.

HERBS

Natural plants combined and used for their therapeutic medicinal properties.

ACUPRESSURE

Very similar to acupuncture, this technique uses digital pressure rather than needle insertion to rebalance the body in accordance to TCM ACU-channels and meridians.

TUI NA

Is a hands on body technique, in which the practitioner may brush, knead, press, roll and rub on areas of the body.

GUA SHA

Is a TCM therapy in which the skin is scraped to produce light bruising. It is used to promote blood flow and healing.
